The term sweeps brave it is used in Latin America to designate to those organized groups inside a swollen one that you/they are characterized to produce violent diverse incidents, inside of and outside of the stadium, pyrotechnic unfolding and songs used during the development of the parties.
The term appears in Argentina at the beginning of the decade of 1960, and then it was expanding its use for all Latin America. In Brazil it denominates them to him "bent organized", while in other continents they are known as hooligans or ultra.
Generally the brave bars, also calls the thick of the swollen one, they use flags (denominated cloths or canvases) and musical different instruments. The brave bars are also characterized to be located in the popular tribunes, those that frequently lack of seats and where the spectators should see the foot party.
This phenomenon has extended, in diverse grade, in different countries of America. They generally have their origin in an urban juvenile subculture of character, where the ownership is looked for to a certain group. Although a wide variety of these bars exists in America, these spread to present certain common features: exaltation of the force, the nationalism, the sense of the honor associated with the capacity of fighting and the reafirmación necessity.
Traditionally, he/she has associated to the brave bars with the urban marginalidad, and the consumption of alcohol and drugs. In general, in most of America these bars are conformed by youths between the 14 and 25 years, while in Argentina it is possible to find grown-ups, because they possess a more ingrained tradition. In the different countries of Latin America these brave ones have acquired fame progressively, at least from beginnings of the decade of 1990.
On the other hand, in Colombia the phenomenon began in the beginnings of the decade of 1990 starting from the rivalry among fans of clubs of Bogotá, Medellín and Cali, extending then to other places of the country. Starting from this moment, it begins to be replaced the passive traditional way of attending the soccer in Colombia, for one active and main character of the show. This phenomenon transcends the margins of the sport enclosures, beginning to be configured as urban tribes that mark the territory by means of graffitis, and they generate acts of violence among the different groups
